A poorly presented web site can lose a company potential clients, as it is a reflection of the business, Suncoast Web Solutions Managing Director Neil McNulty said today.
“What a business puts up on the public domain is a mirror image of their company, its reception desk, the quality of their products, services and delivery.”
“If a web site has an unprofessional look, contains out-of-date information, broken links, too many pictures and slow to navigate, then potential clients will look elsewhere to find a business that meets their criteria,” Mr McNulty said.
He said customers know what they want and if a web site is set up properly it can be an invaluable source of new customers, both locally and internationally.
“A web site’s content is its most valuable asset. Get it wrong and it can be disastrous.”
Mr McNulty said Suncoast Web Solutions has been designing, developing and hosting quality web sites for many Sunshine Coast businesses over the years and he believes that there are thousands of badly planned web sites in existence in the region.
“Even a simple web site with the right content can project a positive image for a company and no business should be without an Internet presence in today’s marketplace as thousands of Sunshine Coast residents search and shop on the web every day,” he said. “And most web sites would be cheaper than the price of an advertisement in the Yellow Pages and it’s there forever.”
Mr McNulty said Suncoast Web Solutions uses a variety of methods to make web sites search engine friendly and help move them up the rankings in Google, Yahoo and MSN.
“We provide our clients with a cost-effective online marketing tool that gets results and also helps them to manage their online presence, so they don’t have to pay any more to update and change their content, products or services.
Mr McNulty said Suncoast Web Solutions is currently offering Sunshine Coast businesses a FREE web site appraisal and a fifteen minute consultation with one of our Internet marketing consultants.
